| I need to have a bracelet bead-blasted to match a homage field watch. I had one done years ago on a Seiko mod, but I have lost the guy's information. Does anyone know of someone who provides this type of service? |

Most machine shops and many garages have bead blasters that can do it. The trick is finding one that will regulate the air pressure so as not to over do it and make it rough. Then too, other then the pressure the "grit" of the media matters...some is very aggressive. Once it's blasted CLEAN it, preferably with an ultrasonic cleaner and Dawn and water, or liberally scrub with Dawn and a toothbrush. Grit left in the links will damage it fast. |

I have a Laco GMT with a beautiful sandblasted stainless case, but to my knowledge they do not make a matching bracelet and I can't find anything that even looks close to it. I love the look of sandblasted stainless, they way it gets that smooth gray almost graphite coloring. |
