Staying in this NYE. Been drinking Dos Equis with lime today. About to crack open a “The Salty Lady” by Martin House in Ft. Worth.

Thinking I’m going to sign up for an annual membership at a local run & gun type place for training.

I’ve got a Q Sugar Weasel with a Thunder Chicken can, Ruger LCR 9mm revolver, G23, p365, and a LCP 380 nearby.

Yup, living in the city has that effect. Can’t wait until we move out of the city,

We are in our home. NYE is Amateur Night, and these people can't drive when they're sober.

Currently cutting up salmon filets for the freezer, making fish stock, and washing octopi for marinating and grilling later this week. Probably split a 375 of Duckhorn Pinot with grilled salmon and sauteed bok choy, with a weird vintage Dönnhoff Brut to celebrate NYE.

Eager to try an older Trocken Riesling with the octopus. Maybe Savennieres instead, I haven't decided.

The warm-up: Glock 19, 14 month manchego, Dodge city salami, Marcona almonds, home-grown Castelvetrano olives, Spanish membrio, and gin & tonics/americanos.

The main event: S&W Model 29, dry-aged prime NY strip, caviar w/ accouterment, deviled eggs w/ shaved truffles, shrimp cocktail, and champagne.

The finisher: HK 45, very dark chocolate lava cake, and 20 year tawny port.

Got my home built FrankenGlock Polymer 80 with Killer Innovations cut slide and an Agency Arms Syndicate barrel, with a bottle of 12 year old El Dorado dark rum. But, I am also sitting on the computer next to all my other guns too, so.....
