Just checked.  My 2020 F150 XLT is $1,500 for the year.  Pennsyltucky, though.  I would expect GA to be cheaper.  Farmers.

Too fucking much.  We get hammered by uninsured motorist coverage.  Here, in an accident, you have a 50/50 chance of the other car being uninsured.

250 deductible is really low.  You’ll pay more for that.

Uninsured motorist coverage is basically required now.

No way in hell I’d drive without it.

Most every company in the Nation has raised Auto rates to the tune of an average of 40% over the past 3 years.

Lots of online articles about it this.

If your rates have not gone up...consider yourself lucky.

When we looked at it, it changed our premium like $35/yr.

State Farm has super high rates on auto but super low rates on homes. We pay out the ass but it is still cheapest because others want a shit ton more for home coverage.

At least that's our predicament.

Three vehicles with Geico 100/300 full coverage with UIM and $200.00 deductible. 2014 Wrangler. 2014 Kia and 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Crew Cab. No accidents or tickets. 18 mos ago I paid just under $900.00 dollars for 6 mos of coverage. My last renewal was $1900.00 for six months. I've shopped around and so far have found no outfits with better rates.

3 Vehicles. 2020 F150 with full coverage, 2013 Focus ST and 1994 ranger with liability only right now. Just switched to New York Central Mutual and my premium is like $1650 a year.

2021 Ridgeline, State Farm for home and 2 vehicles. "Truck" is $736 for the year, $500 deductable, no accidents, couple windshields replaced over the years including one on the Ridgeline.

Towards the end of this year my son is going to start learning to drive. I'm not looking forward to that jump in insurance.

I average about $100/month per vehicle for full coverage with a $1000 deductible. Your policy seems about right. You could definitely save by raising the deductible.

Too much, but shopped last week and couldn't find anything cheaper than progressive. 40% increase in 18 months is absolutely ridiculous, especially with a 20 year old truck, a 13 year old truck, and no tickets or accidents.

$1,300/yr. is actually pretty good. I pay nearly double that for a 2009 Town Car with much lower liability limits.

My last 6 month renewal in Feb. was $1811 for 100/300/100 w $500 deductible for 8 vehicles, 5 of those are Mustangs. I switched to Progressive from Geico about a year and a half ago.

ETA: My F150 4x4 is $241 for 6 months.

Try to go 500 or 1500 deductible

I would cover anything up to 1500 out of pocket so I figure anything over that I would make a phone call.

I mean a mirror coming off would be more than that

My truck costs a bit more than OP, so my rates are higher.  Well that, and I have two of them.

That seems crazy high to me, but FL has pretty insane car rates from what I gather due to all the geriatrics, yankees, illegals, and geriatric yankees.

OPs seems about right, a little higher than mine but not by much

Yup. The new normal. :/

Insurance companies have taken massive hits on their investments, and few years of claims adjusters not leaving home had allowed increased insurance fraud.

State Farm's financial rating lowered to a B not long ago. While that doesn't sound bad... it is real bad.

The cost always transfers to the consumer...

We have home, auto, and our travel trailer insurance through Progressive.

We pay our auto insurance in 6 month intervals which gives a little discount.

For my 2022 F350, and my wife's 2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR, it is about $1000 per 6 months.

USAA, almost 40 years now. Cheapest? Not by a long shot, but overall they have been good.

However, they play the same tune as all other insurance companies - "We're forced to raise rates because cars and replacement parts cost more, blah, blah, blah." Of course they do, like they always have.

But IMHO, this is due to the unchecked ILLEGAL invasion on the southern border. A significant percentage (compared to 10 years ago or so) of the accidents reported in my AO involve these people. Before everyone's heads explode, thinking I am anti-immigrant, NO, I am anti-ILLEGAL immigrant.

My not really a truck (2019 Ridgeline) went from $850 in 2022 to $1200 in 2023 to $1500 this year. I talked to my insurance company and they agreed to lower it... to $1300.

Considering I only go into the office 2x a week or less, that seems excessive.

I'm currently at $4500 for 4 vehicles 2015-2019, home and umbrella.  This is top of the line coverage for MI with unlimited medical on vehicles and an 18 yo and 23 yo driver on policy.

If I took my kids off it would be a little less than half, but their rates would be 2-3x higher.

Same for me, rate doubled the last couple years.
I may have to adjust some limits to get it less.

Also agree we are paying for the invasion with higher insurance rates (among other things) and the ambulance chaser’s too.
