I got it because I wanted an old Colt so if I can’t shoot it I’m good with it, but I’m going to check it out and see if it can be shot safely.  If I can, I will.

Hey, I've got one of those - no fancy brass bling, and it's frozen up solid except for the trigger.  Been in the family for at least 100 years; it belonged to my grandpa when he was a kid, but I don't know if it ever worked even when he had it.
