I won't hold it against you if you want to call it that but I don't count hailstones on the ground as a "white Christmas".
If we go back to the film "White Christmas", it's pretty clear that it has to be snow to count. |

I believe the local meteorologist said a white Christmas was at least 1" of snow on the ground.

No previous snow on the ground then it begins snowing Christmas Eve day or Christmas morning. Snow must coat lawn so it's at least mostly white. Snowy appearance must last until noon. Any snowfall must not be slushy also until after noon Christmas day.
