I got a free rain collection barrel from a family member to use on our chicken coop, the gasket was leaking but I ended up needing to cut the original part out. Someone had increased the hole size in the barrel to an oddball size, so I decided to model something up. Made a couple of trial version out of PLA / TPU, then the final version out of ASA.

Bambu Rant inbound. Still love my H2D... I had all of the printed parts for the TPU assist module printed and ready to go. Got the module today. Assembling that thing is a bitch. Screws that are .5mm difference in length yet they are all in the same bag. Have no idea if I have it assembled correctly, won't find out for a while because it pissed me off. Why can't they just sell me the module, built, and I print the brackets that work for my printer? Not going to get into the Cyberbrick kit I ordered that was shipped short. They wanted pics and video of the box it came in. Uh, there was a vision plate in that box, it was huge, that box has been recycled. I just want the CB controller that I didn't get. BBL makes good printers, they need to learn how customer service works. Thankfully I have a BBL retailer close by. |

I printed a handful and none of them fit the connector. 90° like ones for the top of the print head would be perfect. My wall mount has it right at the perfect height for going into the top of the printer.  ETA: I got a micrometer finally and measured it. Top of the print head is 8mm for the PTFE insert. The PC4 is 10mm. |

Scratched a decal on the back of the z930m & thought I might replace it with a printed medalion using VHB tape. Printing a test, brought in an .SVG file & built the model from that with each color a different body. That way the color goes all the way through. Two nozzles on the H2D, so no purge waste, just a wipe tower. Attached File Attached File Turns out the decal is black & yellow. So the real print will reflect that. Still have to check dimensions so it will match. Attached File I also decided the best surface was the one touching the build plate, so I'll do a mirror image & have the bottom side showing. |

Some spaghetti, apparently Attached File This was supposed to be a paper towel holder. I'm glad I checked on it after a few minutes instead of after 4 hours of printing. Lol To my noob eye, it looks like it started to print the second big part and it didn't stick to the build plate, which is weird because it's been amazing up until this point. |

It was the very start of the round part of the second keyhole shape. It never adhered to the plate. I flipped the plate over to try again. I probably need to clean the plate since I haven't at all and that side of the plate has been used exclusively since I got the printer and it hasn't been cleaned yet

Oh thats common when you import multi body parts. See if that keyhole piece is floating in the slicer. Sometimes it is. Either way, break it apart and drop each to the bed. Check for stuck filament pieces on the reverse side of the plate and the heat bed itself. It causes the plate to stick up and can have this exact behavior. Last thing to check is for hard clumps on the nozzle. I keep a scour pad handy because if you print something hotter, and it forms a blob on the edge of the nozzle, and you then print a lower temp material, that blob will be registered as the nozzle tip when you bed level, which erroneously raises the Z offset, all because the nozzle isnt hot enough to melt that filament (or it may be a hard burnt piece, etc). Ive had all three cases happen to me countless times each.

Ive had all three cases happen to me countless times each. I scrubbed both sides of the plate with a soapy sponge so I'm sure there's nothing there. I didn't wipe down bed itself though so I'll do that as well. I shouldn't have the clumpy nozzle issue though because I've only printed pla ETA: I just looked through the preview of my sliced file. The two parts that print well go layer by layer, one part then the other and back. The part that is causing problems doesn't start getting printed until layer 4. It doesn't look like its hovering just looking at the whole project but I don't know any other reason it would wait 4 layers to start printing, then print in the air. I'm going to load the parts individually. |

Yeah I have the 1/5 scale Kraton and this 1/16 scale Mini. So they actually went both directions. They also have a 1/10 scale version too so four total sizes including the original 1/8 scale. The 1/5 scale is scary powerful. I can pull myself, and both daughters at the same time in a wagon.

Wheelie bar is done, wheels and all. Matches the 1/5 nicely, down to the twin six spoke wheels. I made the tires out of 90A TPU and the rest is PETG for just a tad bit of flex. If this breaks I will do one in nylon. Attached File |

Then they tell me it ships separately.. When I got my second x1-c the card reader wouldn't recognize the sd card. I told them right from the start it was the control panel because my other printer recognized the card. They tried blaming it on the card anyway. So more bs song and dance. pics, video.. It took me the better part of 2 weeks to convince them it was the panel, not the sd card.  I'm printing this now..it's the air filter cover for my road star..

Needed to replace some sails on a large format spinner after storm damage (fallen limb). Attached File Attached File Glad the H2D was available, the originals were printed on the X-Max3. The spinner when originally installed: Attached File The original was done in ASA, but I noted that a bit over two years in full sun have left it a bit brittle. The color has held up well but it is nowhere near as toughn as the original print. |

Got tired of rolling the pool drain hose up by hand, printed a spool in 2 pieces that thread together in the center hub area. The square drive slot extends into both pieces, so they can't unthread when the drive axle is inserted. Now it rolls up using low speed on the drill about 10x faster than doing it by hand  Drive axle pulls out of the spool so it doesn't take up anymore room in the storage box

I made a nerf gun called the alchemist by sillybutts. Ordered hardware kit and got the best spring. I was not prepared for how much more powerful this was than nerf brand guns. I had my son shoot me in the back from like 15-20ft and it hits like a paintball, so it’s not allowed in current play, need to get the weakest spring apparently Had a forward grip in spare parts and threw a $30 red dot on it Attached File |
I've spent the past couple days...."enhancing" my Star BM 9. I designed custom grip panels, an improved rear sight and a +1 mag baseplate. My grips are slightly wider than the OEM grips, the sight is a significant improvement over the OEM sight, and the baseplate adds a little bit more room for my hands. All together it makes for an extremely nice shooter compared to factory condition.   I've still got some small adjustments to make, but overall everything is 99% gtg. I also have yet to create grip panels that I truly like the looks of, but I can basically do whatever I want, so it's just a matter of time. |
