It's a label used to treat people differently. Why can't these protesters just get rid of all this labeling of people and treat everyone the same.

A person of European descent (east and or west) that does not hail from Spain. I think middle easterners also fall under this category but I don't necessarily think that is the appropriate categorization.

I remember this one girl from high school, she was from Spain, and was one of the hottest girls in school. She kinda looked like an anime girl. Sparkling light hazel eyes light brown hair.
Even the pervy Spanish teacher would sometimes say to her 'Ayyyyyy Karina!'   |

  Heck even this guy is a quarter Mexican:  Hispanic just refers to being descended from the people of Hispaniola aka Spain+Portugal aka European. If you want to be real fussy about it, there are cultural ties to Rome and the Moors. More importantly, why get so hung up on it? |

Hispanics are of Spanish decent, most Mexicans are Latino. |
