Joy Division - 1979 - Unknown Pleasures


One of the most recognizable album covers of all times for the children of the 80’s.  (Technically 1979 release date).  

New Order was (is) excellent, they were the follow up version.  However, Joy Division was the better version...  Forever locked down in their innovation, darker, harder, never fading, because the lead singer killed himself in 1980, just before they really hit it big.  Just gone, at the peak of his abilities, at the age of 22.
