I bought a 94 Isuzu PU for cash when I left the Navy. I didn't want to have to worry about my 72 Cougar fucking up while I was in college. I kept it until I traded it in on an 02 F150 that I still have.

‘97 Honda CR-V.  They were brand new and had only been for sale in the US for a few weeks.  I immediately fell in love with it.  It was an awesome vehicle.  Drove it for ten years before some idiot turned left in front of me, and it got totaled.

1986 GTi loaded at around $12k

The first of three A2s that I put over 500k miles on collectively.

Last one was a 92 I kept until 2005 at 203k…it still ran well enough. I should have kept it.

Yeah yeah I know.  I was in school and didn't have much money.  It was nice to have a new car with working A/C though, and the fuel economy was outstanding.

'69 Z28, Jackshaw Chevrolet, Euclid, OH. $2900.

Had it 8 days when I was rear-ended by a drunk in a Caddy.

A year later I traded it in on a '70 LS6 454 Chevelle from a dealer in Temple, TX. $3900. Never should have sold it.

Honda Accord Hybrid. 2014? Was a great car. Looking back now, should have kept it. I traded it in less than 12 months later for a used 2010 GT500, even went a little upside down on the loan

That's a rich man's hobby. I'll probably drive a used Toyota until I die.

I actually almost did finance a new car when rates were dummy cheap a few years ago, but I couldn't justify it.

Not an option on solid lifter cars at that time. Z28 had black vinyl interior. That was fun in a TX summer. Chevelle had a white interior.

No power steering either.
