I want to add an everyday watch to the pile. Seiko diver. Something rugged I can swim with so 200m? Steel bracelet a must. Probably just a simple black face. Automatic or solar.
What models should I be looking, at they’re all so damn close. |

I fancy the mini tuna.

I personally don't like the steel bracelets... however I'm pretty sure you can buy them directly from Seiko, or aftermarket.
Therefore, buy what you like. There's an Orange Monster for sale on EE (not mine), but the model is getting dated. I like the PADI designs, personally. |

Just got a new SNE589 for my work week, when I can't keep an auto running. Pretty happy with it so far.

Is the new Marinemaster within your budget?

Since they don't make the 007 anymore, I'd say a Long Island Watch "clone."

The bezel has worn in a bit over the last 3 years I've been wearing it, though it still maintains unidirectional ratcheting nicely. I do like the 120 teeth. My Citizen Promaster Diver's 200 that I rarely wear has only a 60 tooth bezel and feels "cheap" by comparison. |

OP, 200m water resistance is not required for swimming. It's a standard for serious tool watches but think about how fucking deep that is and ask yourself if you'd even want to be that far under water in a damn submarine. |
