Well-worn Redback slip-on work boots. Third pair I have bought in 8 years, and my favorite work boots. The sole tolerates pressure well, and stays comfortable walking/standing. I wear a pair for 2-3 years, then order another pair and relegate the old pair to household project boots.

I wear heels around the house pretty regularly. How else are you supposed to break them in and make sure you’re comfortable enough walking in them that you won’t break an ankle?
