Started dating a Romanian and a Ukrainian. I kinda dig both of them. They are in their mid-40's. What should I expect? How do women who were in their teens in former Commie block countries when the wall came down work as girlfriend material here these days?
They both seem pretty solid emotionally compared to the Americans I've been dating. The Americans have all been basket cases. ETA: They live here in the states, I'm not bringing them over. They both have U.S. Citizenship |

The ones I work with are obsessed with material wealth and the optics of being with a man of great social status with good looks being next on their list of importance. Most of them started hating their husbands for how ugly and fat they became but stuck with them bc of their money/status

Answer is, it depends. How old when they came over? Number of children, and how many prior marriages? Level of education and type of career field?

Used to be body hair, not that it’s necessarily a bad thing just different and surprising.

Have you got a gaudy ball-hugger speedo and some miniature giraffes?

View Quote Haha...another member of the GD 'girls are icky' squad. Yeah, American women suck, OP. Guessing none of them will give you a second date so there's got to be something wrong with them? LOL Enjoy your ride, OP. Just continue to leave the American women alone because they're clearly not up to your standards. |

They usually prefer a more traditional relationship dynamic where the man is expected to be decisive and stoic.
You might find a bit of a culture clash on politics. Probably less so if they’ve chosen to live in America. My experience is it depends on whether they lean Christian or atheist. |

I dated an Estonian girl for awhile.
Freaked me out when she would eat raw bacon and chase it with vodka. Super blond hair, 5'11" and wore bright red lipstick. She would say all truth comes out with vodka. Lasted about 3 weeks. |

You don't get to just bring her, the family combo set comes as an added bonus.
By that, I mean her entire extended family plus her actual boyfriend (probably known to you as a brother or couson) after she's done getting what she needs from you. Enjoy! |

Superficial for the most part. Like to get dressed up for no reason to the point it's annoying. Emotionally shut off. I'd take an American 10/10 times. Sorry you had bad luck with them.

I pursued mine because I found 'they' had values similar to housewives in the 50's and I had had my fill of Amerikankas with their 'grass is greener on the other side' attitude. Just crossed 18 years of marriage. |

Can't speak about those countries, but Polish women are 100% GTG.

I've been married to a Ukrainian/Russian almost 20 years and know several American husbands of her friends. A few consistent patterns:
- Far more extreme emotionally than Americans, most of the time they are absolutely loving and the best partner you could ask for, with occasional outbursts of profanity riddled, glass throwing, fuck you and all you Americans and your cunt mom and sisters tirades. Then 10 minutes later its passed. - Much more traditional/conservative in the women's role than Americans. She's very content in cooking, cleaning, keeping husband happy. Probably won't have to take them to many pink pussy marches, those fat ugly American bitches are stupid. One exception, they can try to dominate and get bossy, refer to second half of previous point. Gotta keep that shit in check and let some stuff go, stand your ground on others. - Very much motivated by signs of wealth, fashion, and success; they love to pose for pictures at fancy places posted online to make their Russkaya friends jealous - Probably will have some damage from early Russian family life (most are born by teen parents), abusive/alcoholic husbands, mafia violence, military service trauma. The Russian/Ukraine War had her physically sick for week. Is a daily recurring theme of her losing a lot of friends and family who still support Putin. Don't try to go outside your league, it won't last. |

She was only a couple years younger than me and partied like she was 21 again. Borderline alcoholic which really amped up the emotions and there was some blowouts. Alcohol revolved around everything, dinner, birthdays, holidays, get togethers, weekends, funerals, etc... Clubbing and dancing was constant, always involved with something in the social circle. These were my experiences with one small segment of that culture but it seemed to be widespread and not isolated to just one person. I was looking to settle down and she wanted nothing to do with it, so we split. |

View Quote Lacking in the wallet/girth dept? Seriously, while I had just left a wasted 9 years of marriage to my train wreck American wife, I did not go into this one looking for a Russian. I meet her a couple months after leaving my ex, we hit it off instantly and never even dated anyone else. |

Going outside of your culture can be an eye opener.
The biggest obstacle being that there may be big differences that you don’t like, and the odds of changing a culturally baked in attribute are nearly zero. |

My wife is prouder and more appreciative to be American, and is more patriotic, than most any entitled whiny ass silver-spoon multi-generational Americans I know. Because she knows what her life WOULD be like if she wasn't here. Its humbling, she stood tall and proud taking her citizen pledge while I blubbered like a school girl a few feet away. She loves American cops, "they're nice boys", one changed her flat tire in the rain. "Eeeen rasha, they rape you". Hates BLM/Antifa because they just don't know what its like in other places. |

View Quote This is true, I can't think of any gathering that didn't have vodka, beer, and wine, but she was never the party girl too much. It was much more ceremonial, traditional, social than hard partying, for her, thats what I'm still growing out of. |

They are hot. I was recently in Yerevan and the Armenian girls were very attractive. In addition, the Russian girls were very good looking. I saw one girl that was Asian looking speaking Russian. Super hot.
