A number of things mentioned or shown I remember.... but this was the granddaddy:

Lincoln Logs, an old Marx tinplate O gauge train set, and some other things made for border crossings, towns etc.

Semi auto/repeating rubber band guns for sure.

Till one day I hid under my parents bed when my dad was in the shower. Lined up my rifle, took careful aim, and drilled him right in the tip of the dick while he was brushing his teeth.

To this day I’ve never seen him that pissed . He beat my ass with both my gun and a hairbrush he got a hold of...can’t remember having more rubberband guns after that haha

Got this one when I was 8.  Broke a few of them from overuse.  Found a leather holster that it fit in perfectly, and I got damned fast drawing that thing.  I could put two discs into ya before you could get your marauder of your shoulder!
I never got why they called it a Star Trek gun, though...Never saw the gun on the show.

I had one of those. I'd lose half the discs and try to feed it pennies and it would get all jammed up.

First favorite was my General Lee big wheel. That thing was the bomb...rode it till the wheels split in two.

After that was my knock off red rider BB gun. No idea how many BBs went through that thing, but if it was more than a hundred pounds, it wouldn’t surprise me. Shot it until the plastic front that served as the front sight and a block to hold the barrel in line flew out. Then I duct taped the bitch back in and shot it until the spring finally gave way. When I got it I was small enough I had to wedge it between my knees to cock the lever. By the time it took a shit, I was shooting dragon flies down by the pond.

Good times.

The original GI Joe.  I wish I had taken better care of mine as a kid, but in 1970 they still were found in every toy store and there was no indication they would ever go away.

Indoors was Legos.  Outdoors was this:

I spent tons of time on the NES, but don't really consider that a "toy".

The Crossman AIR-17 pellet gun. Gay by today’s standards but so cool at the time.

ep..>damn is an understatement....... I was only like 6 or 7 when we went there to see his stuff..... I didnt know much about the things then as I do now, but that man had one heck of a collection..... But what I do recall now that I do know about the stuff.....that stuff now would be worth some serious money....  I still remember so clearly all of those helmets and Lugers..I mean hundreds of them......it was really sick...I didnt pay too much attention to the American stuff or anything else---I liked the German stuff...... nazi flags hanging everywhere, stacks full of them sitting on the shelves, swords, daggers, I remember there was a part of an airplane on the wall with a big swastika on it, I think it was a tail section of some type of german plane, what kind I dont know.... racks full of german uniforms you thought you were in a department store, boots, shoes, holsters, belts medals all over the place......  remember I was only 6 or 7 and I still remember that so well....and all that stuff now is in collections across the US......... and the worst part about it is...IT ALL COULD HAVE BEEN MINE...or some of it at least....... I would have gone through there today and loaded my pick up truck full--  and I always wanted a Luger and to this day I still never have been able to afford one....... and at one time I had hundreds of them at my fingertips I could have walked away with  FOR FREE!!!!!..............

Was Legos.  Still is Legos, but now that my boys are interested in them I have an excuse to buy all the cool sets I wanted that I couldn't have.
