Where are they? Easy. the millions that were yanked out so something else like a V6 or V8 could go in there went straight to the scrap yard, starting about 1957
The other thing is this: C/L, as much as some of you bitched about it, has a search engine that WORKS. But when Zuckerfucked and his fancy phlakebooke Marketpharce came along, the SEARCH ENGINE SUCKS. I can put something fairly unique in the search, like, Mopar, and I get everything from fucking Stuebakers to zenith television sets. It's completely FUCKED. And worse, the search PROBABLY does not find what you are SEARCHING FOR And Google has fucked it's search engine all up similarly, and so has ebay. This simply means "they are out there" and you can't find them. |

Shoot, craigslist requires several variations on a local search, to find maybe 90% of ads.
I don't use Facebook, although I'll admit temptation lately. I found a complete CJ-2A with a Hurricane barn find in Illinois. Complete with a hole in the hood. There are no doubt a dozen hoards hidden away all over. Probably need to be related or a close neighbor to know about them. |

That new block is for end times when the last old block has been recycled into new steel or rust.
A hunt like this parallels parts for old airplanes, the next step is to join an owner's group that knows where to find the parts. |
