I was sympathetic to Ross Perot in '92, but never voted until G.W.B.
in '00.  Prior to '00, I thought voting didn't matter.  I voted for Bush again
in '04.

I never registered with a party, but identified as independent favoring Libertarian
in the mid 2000s after watching the RINOs and neocons continually fuck us over.
Ron Paul in '08, and may have written in RP for '12.

I couldn't stomach McCain in '08 after he mocked Americans that wanted border control,
and didn't vote for Romney in '12 as he struck me as a RINO.

I was pro Tea Party, and lean MAGA.  I vote Republican as the modern Democrat alternatives
are far worse.  I've never voted for a 'rat, as the reasonable moderate ones refuse to stand
up to "Clown World."

I've learned to never trust politicians of any political stripe.

Why do you hate the right to bear arms?

Whichever one that allows me to keep my guns and defend myself and doesn't tax me to death and actually puts dangerous criminals away. So probably Republican. My friends think I'm more of a libertarian though, but you gotta stick with the major parties.

Third parties are a non-start. MAGA should continue to fight for control of the Republican Party and oust the RINOs.

You missed some:

- Constitution Party (Disorganized leadership unfortunately - used to be the U.S. Taxpayer's Party.  Not the original Constitution Party started in 1994 by Aaron Russo although some of his officers joined the new one when Aaron's party folded.) - Firearms News interview with Constitution Party Chairman (2021)
- American Party (old party but may have disbanded in the last 20 yrs.)
- American Freedom Party (don't know much about them)
- The Prohibition Party (oldest 3rd party active since the late 1800s, very odd.)
- The Communist Party USA (should be illegal as it's treasonous, like other leftist parties)
- The Greens Party (environmental leftist crackpots)

And many more: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_political_parties_in_the_United_States

LOL! Trump is the king of the RINOs! He's anti-2A, super pro LGBTQ, biggest spender of foriegn aid, for some types of abortion, chooses all globalists for "best people" advisors, and talks out of both sides of his mouth/ total bullshitter.

Shouldn't it be

1. The party that agrees with you on 99% of the issues but has no power and never accomplishes anything

2. Agrees with you on 80% of the issues, has power and wins a few and loses a few.

"Republican" or really actually Republican?

Are we starting a new, fresh country or are all the current laws still on the books?

Either way I'd prefer a Libertarian-leaning Constitutionalist party. Stick to the Constitution, as written, and if there are any questions, err towards freedom.

The only way to keep the Government from oppressing the People is to dismantle it down to its most basic functions.

That is a pipe dream, however, as most people (even most Americans) are intellectually incapable of not running to it to solve every problem.

See my above post. I voted Constitution Party for many elections,  unfortunately this party operates more like a Constitution club and lost their bit of a momentum about 10 years ago. Although, they do have annual conventions and about a dozen candidates holding local offices.

the current leadership of every party in that initial list hate me and mine.

closest in theory should be Republican but they swing nonstop between compromising/waffling so they can go to the cool parties to acts of outright hatred of me.

so which party do I want to be part of?  none.  i hate them all.

Who will I vote for?  Sadly, no choice but to vote for Whoever seems most likely to screw me the least.

So you support the open border policies of the libertarian party?

{"Libertarians believe that people should be able to travel freely as long as they are peaceful. We welcome immigrants who come seeking a better life. The vast majority of immigrants are very peaceful and highly productive.

Indeed, the United States is a country of immigrants, of all backgrounds and walks of life…some families have just been here for more generations than others. Newcomers bring great vitality to our society.

A truly free market requires the free movement of people, not just products and ideas.
