Last year I sent a box of gun magazines to someone on ARFCOM. I have no idea who that was.
Well, I have more..... If you are deployed I would be happy to drop you a box of fine library material. |

Any other magazines up? I am in Iraq and for some reason we keep getting US weekly and People etc 
I think its from the Moms who buy them read them and mail them to their offspring. Funny thing is one of my NCOs mother keeps sending him People, Vanity and some other stuff. Its always fun to listen to him rant about her sending stuff like that to her straight son.

Your box of magazines and goodies showed up today. It's always great to be notified you have mail waiting. Even in this day with email, IM and Skype it is still great to have some mail to pick up. The boys and I will greatly enjoy reading the magazines you sent, thank you very much for taking the time to send them and not to mention to pay for the postage required to send them. |

| I believe those APO flat rates can outrun Santa Clause. My Father was a combat engineer in WW2. In about 1967 or 8 I was sent to be be checked out for the draft, failed like a ton of bricks, poor eyesight and poor hearing. which I didn't know anything about till then. Never entered my mind to be a draft dodger as many did. Lots of my friends were Vietnam vets. Jump to today, if I can send a box of mags to someone who will be far from their home doing a job on Christmas so I can celebrate Christmas or any other day because of the freedoms we have, then I will sure try. More important, I pray for all our Men and Women, in any uniform wherever they are, most every day. I am proud of our Armed Forces, not because they are the best in the world but because they are there, of free will to serve and even give their life if need be. May GOD bless you and your familys and GOD bless AMERICA, which he has always.––THANK YOU––––hayboy |

Just a heads up for those sending boxes: the USPS has Priority Flat Rate boxes that can go for $12.50. The postmaster told me that they should be in country in 5-6 days. |

I've been collecting some stuff to send for sometime now, I was going to send it all to an organization to send off, but if anyone knows of someone here who is a member and deployed or knows of a deployed person who could use a care package please IM me. I have a bunch of gun/hunting mags and some good eats I've picked up. Let me know! |
