Some people here are not getting what OP is talking about. He's talking about someone who is in the movie for less than five minutes, maybe less than one minute, with just a little dialogue.
Some of the characters being listed were in half the movie. |

Quoted: Quoted: I think Pyle, Elvis, upham all have large enough roles in their movies. Pesci? We all know the actor, does anyone even know that character's name? You always get fucked at the drive through! I came to post him too. Kharn |

Quoted: Kids are watching empire strikes back and it occurred to me that pretty much everyone knows who Dak is. Only a couple lines and dies rather unceremoniously. Also Marvin from pulp fiction. Who's your vote for most well known character with slightly more than a role of extra? View Quote Boba Fett was pretty unremarkable. No idea how he got such a following. |

A lot of people don't realize the Roman Centurion at the end of "The Greatest Story ever told" is John Wayne whose only part in the whole movie was to stand there and say one line....
"He truly was the son of God!" |

Paulie (played by Burt Young) in the Rocky franchise. Or even Apollo Creed.

Not my “favorite”, and not the most iconic.
But I’m not sure any character has been so universally known by almost everyone, for having one tiny line, and almost no impact on the film whatsoever, than this guy Attached File |
