Nope, not a Grand Master...of the Blue Lodge. I'm a Past Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of South Carolina, but it's definitely not the same! I always wondered what goes on at those COGM meetings (tinfoil hat donned) but being a Mason as long as I have and having been honored into a number of "higher" bodies, it's probably pretty routine.  (and the tinfoil hat comes off...)

(and the tinfoil hat comes off...)They're open to any MM. It's not a governing or authoritative body so it's mostly discussion on topics affecting Masonry at large. I find a lot of value talking with friends in the hallways. I'm not GM anymore but am past president of the conference. I have picked up some other responsibilities on committees so I'll be there the next four years at least. |
