Yes, the penultimate sentence in the unofficial translation I was reading. But they kept it as netorare, so searching for cuck was fruitless.
I ended up reading most of 4.5. The unfamiliar names turned out to actually be connected to the main story, it's just that when you're skimming you don't realize the unknown girl is actually the little sister of the running mate of the chick who lost the debate. Especially if you didn't recognize the running mate's name either.

The fan translation I'm reading doesn't translate words presumed to be familiar to the otaku, like NTR:

"Interesting.  So this is what it feels like to be cuckolded."

"I see, so this is what is called netorare (NTR), huh."

I'm wondering about Yuki:
She's a horny otaku, loves to read 'wincest' and S&M manga, gets off on hitting on her own brother and watching him squirm.
But what would happen if he whipped off her towel, grabbed her hand, and headed for the bedroom? Would she be a for-real brotherfucker, or it it truly just a game she plays? I think it's just a game, but I also think she really hates to lose, so I'm not sure what she'd do if you called her bluff.

Even the bit we did see was entertaining, decent cosplay and people watching. Ton of food trucks too. Was really disappointed in the "beer garden", only Asahi.
Will be going to more in the future. Next time we'll board the animals and stay in one of the connected hotels to the convention, has a lazy river on the roof, so that'll be nice.

Got to meet the owner from PandoraX, nice guy.

He actually doesn't have one of Shalltear that I've seen, might be a good recommendation. Megumin I've got on my other board

Elusive Samurai continues to be an excellent adaptation. Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro was always one of my favorite manga and Yusei Matsui always writes a good story.

The series is getting some serious love in terms of animation, too.

BTW, don't hate Yumi (Yuki's mother) without knowing her circumstances.
Not that it excuses her. She could have easily been a wonderful human being like her own mother before her.
She explained herself in Vol 9.
No spoilers here, just background of why the Suou family is as it is, and why Kuze resents Suou Yumi.

But in the end, the real agent of chaos is Nonoa Miyamae, the blond girl who surrendered the debate.

I'm partway through volume 8.  I've managed to get a few things done around the house, but nowhere near as much as I wanted to get done this weekend.  Need to make a run to Lowes, and I've got a project in the shop that I need to finish so I can clean up and have room to get an even bigger project into the shop.

Dixie Gun Works used to sell a replica of the Japanese Matchlocks, but they have apparently been discontinued.

https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index/page/product/product_id/9502/category/315/category_chain/312,313,315/product_name/MM0005A+Japanese+Tanegashima+Matchlock

Looks like the artwork is a 'carbine version' of that, with AR furniture and a few other things added.  The muzzle device would seem likely to serve a dual function - deflect the muzzle blast forward and act as a funnel for loading.

I don't recall seeing what the Japanese version of a cartridge box from the muzzleloading era looks like, but I imagine that making a MOLLE compatible version would be an interesting project to complement the 'Tactical Tanegashima Teppo'.

Dungeon People is pretty funny. Extremely silly too, but the way that it turns expectations upside down and skewers cliches is delicious.

I've just started watching Dahlia in Bloom - maybe two or three episodes - and so far it has been unexpectedly interesting, with some very imaginative world building and character development - so I'm enjoying that one as well.
