It was an interesting watch. I agree that it would've been nice if the caller could stay on longer. I see a problem or conflict with the Catholic idea of, "baptism is so important that we've got to baptize them immediately" and also, "people who die without opportunity for baptism can be saved by God's grace in other ways." After 9:42 In fact, the Catholic Church understands that God can provide grace to people apart from the sacraments. The Catechism of the Catholic Church, for example, says that we may confidently hope that God can provide salvation to children who die without baptism. Some subsequent documents have even gone a little further than that. |

My wife and I were baptized this spring (Eastern Orthodox Church) and there was a University exchange student in the congregation last school year from Moldova. She came to our baptism just to see adults baptized since in her country everyone is baptized at 40 days after birth. I thought it was cool she was going to go home and tell her church friends she saw two Americans in their 40's baptized.
