Cherokee here, I don't live on, never have lived on a Res. I also have never voted for liberal. One Cousin in my family voted wrong and that is because she is dating an idiot.

The rez are fairly small populations, and it’s not like other states for the most part as far as the rez setups. But lots of the partial blood card carrying members are conservative, some full blood too.

Because OK is awesome, I’ve built projects all over the country. Oklahoma has great people, southern manners, midwestern work ethic and oilfield attitude. Apparently they also vote well.

A good friend of mine married a Choctaw girl and moved out there to live on her families land in the hills west of Hochatown. Her family comes across as very conservative, and her father served and was very proud of it. |

Indians aren't a monolith, but the traditional types do tend to lean conservative. More than whites or any other ethnicity for that matter. Strong family and spiritual values, and wanting to be left alone from the government. Seems most have not forgotten the Indian Removal Act and a variety of other government overeach
