I just joined a gym for the first time in 15 years.  One thing I noticed is the lack of paper sheets with machine names, your settings and rep counts.  They were on the front desk at every gym I belonged to back in the day.  I realize that those went away, but what replaced them?

I tried to find an app to do that, but every single app in the Google store wants you to sign up and get some kind of "fitness platform subscription" that I'm not joining.

What is available for me to log my workouts?

Maybe a pocket size version instead.

I use Word to write up my programs in a table. Just fill the variables with a pen.

I use a spreadsheet on Google Sheets and edit it on my phone.

In my fitness journey (since chinavirus) I went from writing things on paper then transferring to a spreadsheet, to writing things on a white board (in my home gym) and PLANNING to put it in the spreadsheet, to using an APP.

The app I am using is called HEVY  I'm happy with it, I tried a couple of others.

You can record your sets, make a few custom exercises, (there are a lot to choose from) it tracks and graphs most things.

I just use notepad on my Iphone. Its easy to edit during my workouts and takes minimal time. If a pen and paper is your thing do that.

I've tried apps and excel spreadsheets but I'm not a fan.
