We're talking perfect replica in all ways except for actually firing. Only rules is that it has to be a pistol/rifle. Something you can put in a glass case on a shelf/coffee table or hang on the wall. Think of it as a conversation piece or art work. Not some BS "I want the Soviet recoilless rifle from Blackhawk Down." Has to be somewhat compact. Me. #1... Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner hits all of my check boxes. Sci-fi but based on real guns, a total cobble chop job. It's a Mannlicher bolt action on a pistol frame but just seems to work. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/06/e1/77/06e177c7523b8110ddc7561e334ac516.jpg Close #2.... Robocop Auto-9 https://www.yourprops.com/movieprops/original/yp533e29e3cec481.87915524/Robocop-Auto-9-2.jpg View Quote I know you said 'non firing' but wouldn't that pistol more than likely injure you, than actually propel a bullet ? I would dig a copy of Mal's 'Moses Brothers Self-Defense Engine Frontier Model B' |

The advanced weapon from Demolition Man I think would be pretty cool. When I was younger, I always wanted the gun in Sledge Hammer

A stainless steel Marlin Model 1895SBL. The lever-action rifle used in Wind River is probably the same one that Chris Pratt used in Jurassic World.

For something to just be a wall hanger for me, it would have to be a fantasy gun. So by that criteria: #1. Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner, #2. M41A Pulse Rifle from Aliens.
|
|
Mine were covered early - Deckard's gun would be #1, and anything from Aliens would be #2.

This thread reminds me...
Does anyone still sell replica non functioning machine guns made with de-milled real MG's? I remember you could get MG42's and all kinds of cool wall hangers. |

Came here to post this one.

I would say the M41 pulse rifle.
I would say Dirty Harrys 44, but only if it was a signed authentic one actually used in the movies by Clint. |

Oooh, this is fun.
Deckard's blaster is a solid choice. It shows up in the Fallout games as well as a 5-shot .223 pistol. Tom Hanks' M1A1 Thompson in Saving Private Ryan. Big clunky gun like that is probably better as a wall-hanger. I also liked the big DC-15 blaster rifle used by the clone troopers in Star Wars Episode II. It's an MG34 with the standard Star Wars kibble glued all over it. |

Yep M41A

Aliens pulse rifle. Ideally with companion Aliens pistol. View Quote You can buy a real one. (Just be sure to do a LOT of finger strength training as the HEAVY double action only trigger will tire you out in one magazine!) @macman37 |
