https://studyfinds.org/beetleburgers-feed-the-world

They're going to solve world hunger with mealworm burgers.. yummy. The say that mixed with sugar the worms taste like real meat... Sure. Sounds just like how my shit mixed with sprinkles tastes like ice cream.

You need to read this shit. They could be made into worm mcnuggets, worm dogs, worm protein powder.. the possibilities are endless.

The best part? They're good for the environment of course. They have a much smaller carbon footprint than traditional farming, so they're good to go at the altar of green.

So how do you like your worms? Medium or rare? You will eat the worms and you will like it. Why do you hate the planet? Don't you want to save it??

The contents of your new burger:

what your worms eventually turn into/come from

So bugs plus sugar is healthier than beef?  Doubt.

I have little doubt this shit is pushed to make us weaker physically.

Long-term consumption of insects by a human population may have side effects. We are omnivores, NOT insectivores, and insect bodies have complex sugars and polysaccharides that may be harmful to humans when used as a primary meat substitute/protein source. I can GUARAN-DAMN-TEE you that the elite won't be eating bugs. This stuff is for the lumpenprole, and if it shortens their lives or causes health issues, so much the better.

Listen WEF, I've said it before and I'll say it again.  I'll sooner eat YOU than I will bugs.  So if you want to become part of ny food pyramid, go ahead, keep pushing.  Perhaps I'll keep you alive a bit and feed you bugs to fatten you up.  I wonder what Klaus's lying tongue tastes like?

You want every wild bird and mammal on the continent to be hunted to exctinction by poachers?

This is how you get it.

But it's GREEN.
Meal worm farming uses 98% less land and 40 times less carbon than cows...

That's a bargain for mother Gaia.. right guys? Guys??

Honestly, a mealworm farm is not a bad idea for prepping.
Feed them to your chickens, but you can still eat the mealworms when the government kills your chickens.
Or use them for fish feed or bait.

I don't want sugar in my foods. I go to great lengths and out of my way to ensure the majority of my diet is absent of it. And I cook about 95%of my meals at home.

The fact they want me to eat sugary bug paste vexes me.

We can already see the Overton Window pushing in this thread!

"Why not?"

"It's just fuel"

If individuals want to CHOOSE the 6 legged Happy Meal, have the fuck at it.

These normalcy bias, head in sand crew don't want to acknowledge that bug burgers aren't an additional option, they are going to be the ONLY option; if you don't have WEF tickets for actual meat.

I ate bugs in Thailand. Crickets and grubs are actually pretty good as a seasoned snack food. But burgers? Pass.

You could imagine many restaurants having their own living supply of worms that they breed in the restaurant to essentially eliminate their supply costs for the "meat".

I suspect these types of protein alternatives will become more widely adopted in poorer countries first, excluding some "specialty" spots in the first world.

In places like Africa where people can't afford to eat, better tech around insect food options make a lot of sense.
