Always interesting to see what others are buying.
My latest purchase was a 20 pc Don Pepin Garcia sampler from CI. 4 each of Black Robustos, Blue Toro, White JJ Corojo Belis, 5 Vegas Miami Toro, and the DPG version of CI Legends. My first taste of DPG. Pretty impressive cigars! How about you? ~Edit: I added cigar to the title of the thread - elderboy02~ |

Well Cbid gave me the idea to try them when they sent their email last week, but I wound up splitting a box with a friend on this site. So I have I believe 10 or 12 Nub Habanos, I should have gotten the sample pack but the Nub Habano was suggested as a good one to try. |

Today I picked up some Rocky Patel Olde World Reserve Toros, and some La Aurora 100 Anos Coronas. edited: And I've got some of those '05 God of Fires (Don Carlos) in my humidor right now! Those are some of what I'll be giving away to a few select friends in about 2 weeks (daughter being born... 3rd child, first girl). I'll be giving away a few Padron 1926, a few God of Fire, a few Opus X, and a few La Aurora 100 Anos. Depending on the exact timing, I may be able to add a few Davidoffs into the mix. Nobody will ever say *I* give out shitty cigars.

Thanks, I just pulled the info from their site this morning on the return  Once my Palio gets here, I'm sending the Xikar back for repair/replacement. I like having choices

I just got a Stinky ash tray, and a Palio too. The Palio is like cutting with a laser beam. I like it better than my XiKar Xi cutter. The Stinky is very user friendly and looks good sitting on my table in the backyard "lounge" Edit to add: I have bought some 35 5 Vegas 'A' sticks this week from C-bid. Here is what I picked up today (payday) during lunch: 1 x Padron Serie 1926 80th Anniversary 3 x Padron Serie 1926 No. 2. 3 x Padron Serie 1926 No. 6. 3 x La Aurora 100 Años Robusto 3 x La Aurora 100 Años Corona 10x Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur 1066 Galahad 5 x Fuente Hemingway Signature 5 x Fuente Hemingway Short Story I like the cigar bar near where I work. They have a nice "working man's lunch special." It's either a Cuban sandwich or a 1/4 lb hot dog, a beer or a coke, chips, and a Fuente Don Carlos Robusto, for $10.00. That Cuban sandwich is mighty damned good. |
