Theres nothing wrong with them…just topical arfism..

A judge had ordered firearms destroyed that a police station had in inventory. The police station is right next to benchmade. They asked if they could hire them to cut the guns up. Yes, benchmade let them use the chopsaw for firearms that were going to the dump regardless.
I still buy benchmade. People here are so dumb with boxing themselves in it’s embarrassing, plus ALL the other stuff.

Three Camilus Model 1760 U.S. military pocketknives I picked up today:

Attachment Attached File

They're dated 1973, 1989, and 1990. I started collecting these within the last year. I already have four others: a 1967 Imperial, a 1977 Camilus, a 1986 Queen City Cutlery, and a 1991 Camilus.

Bought the God daughters a couple of the ild "survival" knives with the hollow handle containing a survival kit and wire saw.

Ok maybe those were for me...easier to justify to myself if its for them.

I was unaware of this background information.  I had one lined up to buy for my youngest this past Christmas and he had so many other toys, and is still a little young, I figured I would wait until maybe his birthday. Still in the plans, but obviously going to look for something besides a Benchmade.

My last knife purchase was a KaBar and it was just cause I needed another folder in a backup bag with some gear.  Nothing special about it, just needed a knife in a critical spot for future need/use.

A couple Navajo bone-blade knives, wrapped in sinew.  Made from bison rib.  I purchased them from a Navajo dealer at the Four Corners Monument.  Just for display, but still cool to me.

I purchased the seed pot from a Hopi artist by the name of Randy Dukepoo Sr.

Lol, careful calling people dumb when you don't give all the facts. But if you want to keep giving your money to people who donate it to the party destroying this nation you do you but some here will think you're the dumb one.

I don't give two shits they cut up guns, it's all the donations to the Democrats that have me hating them.

I bet you watch CNN, they skew the facts too.

Enjoy your bud light.

I
I started buying them back when they andEmerson were the only game in town.
I still EDC an older Benchmade auto, and my old AFCK was gifted to my paramedic daughter for work

Now there are so many choices and new makers that I don’t look at benchmade.
I’ve seen several new names in this thread and have already  hit MKC’s site.

Recently grabbed a Victorinox Forester M Grip for about $44.  I have always been a big fan of Victorinox and this knife doesnt disappoint.  Nice one hand design and easily takes a razor edge.

For an under $50 non-china knife Victorinox is hard to beat IMO.

You forgot the part where they were basically unapologetic and thereafter it was discovered that they were primarily making political donations to anti-gun liberals etc.. There was a lot more to it than the initial gun cutting. There is zero need to support them - plenty of other people make as good or better knives. I sold at a loss or gave away mine. You have not in the slightest convinced me that was stupid. You're directly supporting the enemy financially if buying them, and personally endorsing them when people see you carry it.
