Any trade secrets to getting good adhesion between them?
My daughter asked me if I could make coat hooks for my grand daughters for their travel trailer. I have glow in the dark pls filament but I want to use it with white and blue PETG that I used for the coat hook for my daughter and her husband. The PLA will be the top layer. They will be for windbreakers, nothing heavy and I'm reenforcing the "hook" part with wood screws. I want to do their names in the glow in the dark filament and don't want the letters falling off. One of said grand daughters is like a bull in a china shop so it will be treated roughly. lol This is the one I made for my daughter...her husbands family run an angus beef operation and his tractor is the new holland flavour.  |

They don't mix. Lots of folks with MMU capability use one as a support for the other since they will seperate cleanly. I guess you could glue them back together after seperation ....

Good rule of thumb. PETG doesn't stick to anything except TPU.
Great to take advantage of that, as it makes cheap support material for anything (well, except TPU).  If you needed to mix them you could design the print in such a way that it captures the piece so it can't fall out or come undone, but it's better to just use a different filament. |

It often times makes it foam as well. |
