Follow up blood work from earlier in the year came back and she has stage 3 CKD. Only one value last time was a bit elevated so it was a surprise that the recent analysis was stage 3. She has never had a problem drinking from a bowl to the tune of ~4oz / day. That and an all wet food diet since February providing about another 4oz the vet agreed the total of ~8oz / day was adequate for her body weight. Nevertheless I'd like to stack the odds in her favor and provide a fountain as well as maintain the bowl. I know all stainless is best but there are so many brands and types. Cost of the filters, difficulty or ease of cleaning, and relative noise level, etc. Any input would be appreciated.

| Been through a bunch, mostly due to a couple of ours being asshats taking them apart or generally making a mess. Petlibro fountain ended up being the winner. Lets you monitor how much and how often they drink if you want/need, tells you when it is needing a refill, set timers for reminders like cleaning/filter change. |

I hate cleaning them. There's a ne one out that supposedly is magnetic and simpler to clean. Let me find it. Cat water |
