I’ve struggled with this and assuming I have my ccw Glock 19 in a holster my top choice is a 8-inch 300 Blackout running supersonic loads. If I wasn’t carrying a ccw pistol too then I think I would go with my Mini UZI SBR in 45acp. That mini Uzi is a handy package and at close range it’s as accurate as my AR pistols and she eats HPs just fine. I should SBR a lower as then the AR would likely be better but as of now I don’t have a SBR AR.

Quoted: Quoted: Curious: what are you guys shooting out of 10.5" 5.56mm? I know holes in bad guys are holes in bad guys, just wondering what the SBR/Pistol Brace folks are using for ammo load out out of short barrels. Hornady Black SBR 5.56 This is what I keep stoked in my 7.5. Good stuff. |

6.25” Baby Blond .300 Blk barrel. I made a shield to go over the muzzle brake after I took this picture.

Quoted: Its a 4.75" KAK barrel in 5.56, + their micro gas tube, and an adjustable gas block. Maxim CQB pistol brace. If you went "bargain" parts you could build it for a decent price, or go all gucci and blow the OP's budget out of the water. B.I.L. built one at the same time, added a Fab Defense folding grip, and Maxim's SCW brace. Plus a alum spacer I made for him for between the hand guard and blast shield that needs to be anodized still. https://i.imgur.com/h4PZSe6.jpg View Quote thanks that is in my mind now |

A Scorpion Micro fits nicely in a laptop bag or backpack, even with mag inserted.

This guy is a 7.5 upper with a flaming pig on the end and a Maxim Defense brace.
Overall length is 24" Height with Eotech and 30rd mag is 12" Attached File |

I have both a 10.5" AR and a underfolder AK that fit in Tennis racket bags, but neither will really fit in a backpack.
An AK pistol would, and with a folding brace, would likely fit. As would an AR with a LAW Tactical folder. If you want pistol caliber... A CZ Scorpion or a MP5 Clone would be my go-to. ETA: Not much of a fan of really short 5.56's. The Ballistics really start to fall off, and the fireballs get big. Plus... you likely have no hearing protection. With a really loud gun. There are better options. |

Love the concept but damn it, why did they have to make it so FUGLY?

View Quote I never hear of the Extar EP9 until last week and am waiting to be in stock, then I discovered this. I even have a PC9 to match. Wish the Charger didn't cost so much more than the Extar. |

I'd like something I can put my CZ P-09 in which WILL let me use my suppressor with it... seems the MicroRoni probably won't allow suppressor use.

Those braces Glocks kinda interest me, but a 7.5 inch AR with a Law Tactical folder fits really well in a 17 inch laptop backpack Attached File
