I was put into contact with a regional armorer. He is sending me a huge bag of replacement parts.

Good customer service so far.

That's surprising to me they are sending you Anything; but I'm glad Glock is at least doing that for you.

Damn, now I am scared my new G17 gen 3 will be like this.

ETA: I have a 2011 Gen 3 G19 which has ran excellent.

Fingers crossed for you and I OP.

I'm not saying that you were limpwristing, but I hate when people say this.  There is no correlation between your height/weight and limpwristing.  If you aren't locking your wrist, you simply aren't locking your wrist.  It has nothing to do with how big or strong you are.

I am 6'5" and 250, so I don't limp wrist shit.

Indeed.  'Limp wristing' is the result of improper technique and not a lack of physical size or strength.

And it can be done experienced shooters too, as some platforms are far less sensitive than Glocks.

Regardless, I doubt this has anything to do with OP's 19 problems.

Several years ago a Police Dept went to 9mm's...
The Glock 19 was recomended for Detectives, and other Plainclothes Officers. Most of these guys were revolver shooters, not experienced pistol shooters...

SO many had functioning problems. I could take their Glock 19 and shoot 50 rounds with no problems. They couold not get through a single magazine with out a malfunction.

The reason, they were "Limp Wristing" the gun.

After some proper training their Glock 19's worked fine. Also "rumor' has it, that Glock changed to a lighter recoil spring for the 19's in the USA...

Not saying that is your problem, but it is worth thinking about.

You do know all Gen3 and earlier variants of the 19, 23, 32, & 38 utilize the same RSA.

The Gen4 RSAs are a whole other mess.

I got the bag of parts yesterday and installed them already. I am shooting her in a little while.

Good, I'm sure that you will have a better range day than the first time. I'm looking forward to your follow up range report. I actually like Glock in 9mm and their 45acp SF pistols. I'm sorry your going thru trouble though. It's disheartening when you buy a premier pistol and it performs the way it did out of the box. It happens though. And if you have problems, document them and ask Glock to send you the appropriate parts. It seems you have a good relationship with them, which is good...

Update:

It works. I ran the same NATO ball through it as well as some Federal 100rd pack from Wallly World. Ejection pattern was erratic, but it worked with all rounds. Weak hand and strong hand. I am happy now. I will keep my eye on it for a while more....

So those are the parts that got replaced.

It's that Glock took care of you.

Was the G19 suppose to be your new carry gun? Is that why you were so mad in the OP?

Put the Gen 4 Ejector in it and it will improve that pattern.

Is it just the Gen4 ejector or what else would you need to replace?

You pull the Gen 4 ejector from the G 4 housing and put it in the Gen 3 Ejector housing.  It's pretty easy.

Thats all huh.

Thanks I am sure I can find threads on this too.

I've read that if you push the issue, they will pay shipping.

Of course I didn't know this until it cost me $80 to ship my 21SF

+1  You can't get a bare ejector unless you're an armorer.

And that pisses me off to no end. A manufacturer fucks up, then your out of pocket for shipping because of your patronage to them and for trusting their reputation... Makes perfect sense for them to expect you to pay for that... Rant off...
