I carry a 19.5 MOS with RMR and X300 90+% of the time. Occasionally, when I need something a little lower profile, it’s a 26.3. I don’t really like giving up the advantage of the light and optic. I know the 26.5 MOS is available now but that still leaves me with no light.
I have no interest in one of those cheesy clamp on trigger guard lights. I was thinking about having another 19.5 MOS cut down to take 26 mags and using a compact light like the XC1B or TLR7A. Anyone have a cut down 19.5? |

No, but I've been thinking about doing it to my mutt 19X.5.

Why not grab a P80 or similar frame to test out?

I was also extremely sleep deprived so it was definitely not as good as it could have been. Luckily, it was a cheap dagger frame so worst case scenario, I take the parts out and junk the frame. I have it done any drills or otherwise time to myself before and after the frame modification, but it feels better when I'm shooting. My pinky wraps under the bottom and it's nose heavy like the Ayatollah, so it just feels like it comes back down on target easily. |

I have bought their products for over 30 years but that sucks. I realize there's only so much they can do, but that's a bit of a stinker. |

I did it to a 4th gen. Very happy with the results. It’s a C MOS now.

I posted a separate thread just so I would be able to find it later, but if you got one of these adapters and shrimp the frame perfectly to fit, you could choose which to use. G26 most of the time or a G19 magwell attached to the frame. Since the modified frame would not have the hole, which is how I assume it is secured, you might have to do a little custom work. Still interesting.

I’ll need to try one out, and see how much I need to cut out to see if I want to do it with a few mags. It was my first attempt at anything like this so it may require more cutting than I want. If I do it again I’ll buy a smaller cutting tool, or send it to the guy above. Perfect flush fit with the g26 mags! |

Oh I misunderstood things to the frame itself… better solution still than swapping my preferred slide out on the bedside
