I much prefer that to plate systems, but maybe that's more of a feelings than a facts based decision. I love the RMR and would probably only ever go with that or the RMR HD/RCR for a handgun. I do have a 365XL wearing an EPS Carry from Holosun, but that's just because of the footprint those have. It's fine but I don't expect it to last like my RMR. ETA: I think the Acro is a great optic for piggybacking on a rifle or as a primary on a small PCC like an SP5. I don't love them on handguns. |

Holosun EPS. So nice not dealing with lint and debris getting in the optic. A quick wipe of the lens with my shirt am I'm good to go. I had both of these setups at a training class a little over a year ago. It was sprinkling and water got on the emitter of the 507 COMP. There was a hard horizontal cutoff line when looking through the optic. Top 1/3 I could see the dot dot, bottom 2/3 I couldn't. A simple quick blow out fixed it, but REAL annoying.

| I run a little bit of everything on my guns, but right now two of my P10 C's have Holosun 509T's, my P10 C Comp has a Vector SRO clone (amazing for $112 with their current promo) and my P10 F competition has an 8 MOA Vortex Comp Dot. If I were to do it again and I didn't mind an open emitter in trade off for a large window I lean toward the Vector or the new Osight C that I have been testing for a couple of months. Both present serious bang for the buck. |

I was in the same boat looking for an optic for my CZ P09 C Nocturne. I know it’s not the P10 C but I thought I would pass along a deal on the optic I went with. The Osight SE out the door was $143 and some change. Free shipping and I had within three days. https://www.reddit.com/r/RugerRXMtalk/s/hqO46ecsbT Reddit has the link and code. Price is not the same it’s like five bucks difference. I looked at an Osight S at the local shop and the glass was clear and the dot crisp. It sold me on the SE. I got the SE (waiting on my Nocturne to show up now) and the glass and dot is crisp. The optic is made well and feels like quality and like it will take a beating. This is my first red dot on a handgun so I didn’t want to go expensive and end up hating it. I’m an old dog learning new tricks. I even went with a weapon mounted light. My other options for closed emitter was Holosun EPS. The price was a bit step for me and I have been seeing QC issues on Reddit pop up here and there. |

Put an ACRO P2 on my P10C, using a C&H Precision plate. Pros are durability and clarity. I'm literally not worried at all about the glass breaking or the dot not functioning. Cons are the overall window size compared to most newer optics. I put an EPS Carry on my Glock 43X and it's much better in terms of window size even though the optic body is smaller.
