Beautiful, sir! Nice to see it's going to be a real pistol, with that holster, not a safe queen!

Offered without comment.

Nice. I think mine might be a bit shinier.

Did yours come with the wood grips?

Red followers?

----------
Now you need some stainless steel mag base plates ( http://www.ppdbillet.com/CZ_75_Base_Plate.htm ) and some some stainless grip screws. Stainless or similar mags are optional.

I don't think there's one of these in this thread. You don't see them very often. Especially ones in 9mm. Most that I've seen are in .40.

Heck, I didn't know there were any anywhere.  I did not know a DAO version existed.

Most people don't. Even CZ fans. Information on the DAO pistols is very, very little. This pistol was made in 2000. I believe they didn't import or even make a whole lot of them. I'd have to ask CZ and CZ USA. Maybe a few feelers to some other sources I know. Regardless, not a whole lot of information out there.

I always thought I remembered seeing them on CZ's site a long, long time ago. It's been so long though without looking it up at this point I might have considered the possibility that I imagined it, but I was pretty sure they did exist at some point. Pretty sure I've never seen one in person.

I'm curious, how wide is the grip of the alloy frame compared to the grip of the steel frame compact?  Are they the same or different?

Nice pistol, by the way.  I've been thinking of getting one myself within the next few months.

I want to say they are the same. Would need to conpare the data on the CZ website to know for sure. I didn't care for the rail on the Compact L I had. May have been wider, just not sure. I am one of the few people who doesn't care for the factory rubber grips. Have vz's coming for this one.

According to the CZ-USA website, they're all the same width, including the P01.  In weight, though, the PCR is the lightest.  1.71 lbs for the PCR vs 1.75 lbs for the P01.

Crappy cell pic, but this was my last 30 rounds fired this evening while breaking in my SP-01 tactical.

It was so dark I couldn't see the target very well or the sights, so i was amazed at the grouping.

It looks bright because it was dark enough the flash went off, it was getting pretty late

This pistol basically aims itself

Fired from 10 yards, rapid fire. The two  fliers by the trigger guard are the first DA shots in each 15 shot string gotta work on that

Better shot of the gun, stock right now other than CGW sights. Ordered a TLR-1 for it and a 3 pack of SP-01 mags from CZ-USA, they are running a special right now 3/$120

Interesting CZ 75 Compact L

How do the triggers compare between your compacts and your P-01?  I have a CZ 75 Compact and I'm seriously considering a PCR or a P-01 for my next purchase for a carry pistol.

The P01 trigger is not bad at all with the downfall there being the hammer camming and the long reset.

The Compact Ls trigger is very smooth but long and also has a long reset which is typical of the CZ trigger. Initially I was pretty disappointed with the Ls trigger due to the extra cost, added parts and perceived gains when compared to how much $300 in parts and labor would improve a 1911 trigger.

Apples and oranges comparison that doesn't work given the mechanics of the two ignition systems.

The Ls trigger ranks second overall to the Single Action's tuned trigger and action and overall I think it's a good value, now.

Thank you for the descriptions.  Good to know. There's a notable "creep" spot during the hammer camming on my Compact, but it isn't problematic.  In a way it tells me just when the hammer is going to drop.

Odd there was just one on page 24 and mine is on page 9.  Both compact frame.  I remember a couple more in between there somewhere.  In case you were looking for them.
