ETA: It really is a great substitute for a .40 S&W Hi-Power.

I'm also from CA and also just picked up a P01! A buddy of mine sent me these grips too. This feels like an excellent gun. I'll probably be adding it to my CCW rotation:

Falcon Bullets  falcoats out of Tennessee. No issues feeding thru multiple pistols and rifles.

My first CZ , doubt I will be able to own only at 1. Feels great in hand but could use some rubber grips. Nice trigger without any mods.

Nothing special but I found a p07 trade in at the local shop. Reinstalling the decocker was no fun but I love how it shoots.

Buy a cheap flat head screwdriver that will fit under the decocker. Take a dremel and cut a little v in it. That v will catch the spring and hold it in place, and as long as the blade is small enough, it will slip into the space between the decocker and disconnector so you can trap that little spring piece behind the decocker.

I flattened a nail on the grinder and then used the dremel to cut a v in the end, but I'll be grabbing a screwdriver just for this purpose.

I love the CZ83. Quite possibly one of the most ergonomic and comfortable pistols I have ever held in my hand.

Mine is a 2008 production

I know what you mean.  I wish they could have found a way to incorporate those same exact ergonomics into a gun chambered in 9mm lugar.

How is that trigger? I just ordered the other SAO trigger from CZ-USA for mine and I'm hoping the pre and over travel adjustments will make it better.  Also, what tuning if any have you done to make it...better?
