| Was originally going do a straight MEUSOC clone, but went with Novak sights for the modern fighting 1911 feel, and put front night sight with green surround on. Left it single side safety so when hiking the backpack won't flip the safety (have had that happen with my Kimber Warrior before). Everything looks superb on it. Trigger feels great, beavertail blend is really nice. Safety had been borderline too tight before and perfect now. |

Went full send on the pistol this weekend and shot a two gun match with the pistol. Every time I had the dot on a plate it was press the trigger then the plate would fall and onto the next plate. Thoroughly impressed with this pistol. I used my factory Springfield mags with no tubing with great success and no issues from them at all. Attached File |

I talked to Justin again, today. He says he should have my frame back from anodizing in about 2 weeks. Hopefully, it's true. In other news, I'm having him fit a Kart threaded barrel and a couple extra barrel bushings. |

| I haven’t made the final shop move yet , the shop is constructed and ready for me to move in but just trying to clear the books a little more before making the move and of course I’m waiting on ATF to approve the new location. I’m thinking about 30 days I’ll have most of the books clear and approval to move the shop. The household is finally moved though that’s a huge headache removed ! Also you guys are not bothering me , text or call I don’t mind. I’ll be glad to give updates anytime , I’m sorry for delays on the sub work like anodizing and DLC and the worst … hard chrome !! Once I get to the new shop I have already factored in room for the new anodizing setup and a much better bluing room which is going to speed up production significantly while being able to maintain top quality work and full control of how it turns out! Thanks for your business and your patience guys I really appreciate all of you and the opportunity to work on your pistols. |

I’m expecting JEM frames within the next two weeks 😁 Yea hard chrome is definitely on the table , I’m currently subbing out the hard chrome work to someone else but I’m doing all the prep work to ensure it turns out like I want. they do great work but the lead time is just long and unfortunately has made me miss my lead time for a customer a couple times. So at this point until I find another hard chrome guy or start doing myself I will be quoting slightly longer lead times on hard chrome. Good news is all the other things that most smiths sub out I do it all in house . So as of now the only thing I can’t do in house is the hard chrome and DLC. |

Mine I think was projected for around August I think. I'm still stuck between DLC or blued. It will have matt rounds and polished flats. I like bluing even when it has some wear, but I will carry this so I am thinking the DLC will be better. I have an Alpha Foxtrot S15 that I carry every day and you almost can't hurt the DLCed slide. The anodized frame has taken a little wear but the slide looks new. James |

Both are more durable than the prettier finishes and this will be my carry gun, again. |

It looks like their site is down. I hope my frame and slide were in the batch that just showed up. They should be as he said mine were from JEM. I emailed with his a few weeks ago. It was looking like mid September for mine, maybe a bit more if he has to send it out for finish. James |
