What Cerekote color is the closest to the factory S&W Model 28 finish? Thank You.

Model 28's finishes were all over the place. You got guns with the matte finish, finish close to the 27, and a combination of the two.
My model 28 is very close to my model 27 finish wise.  Send the gun to Fords and have them blue it. |

Well Cerakote is basically paint, can you buff and polish it like a car? Either way, painting a Model 28 just seems... blasphemous. |

This is very true, it's something that I've noticed myself to the point where I've mistaken some 28's for 27's simply because of their polish until I see the top of the barrel and strap. |

Midnight blue is as gloss as you are going to get without someone doing a custom color
