I'm going to try to translate this for the benefit of our fellow ARFCOM members.

Title: Colt 1911 won't sell?

Is $950 too high?

Is this what you were trying to say OP?

https://battlehawkarmory.com/product/colt-government-series-70-1911-.45acp-5-barrel-1-7-round-magazine-blued-pistol $825 new.

Want to know what something is worth?   Keep lowering the price until someone buys it.

If it won't sell, either the price is too high, or where it is advertised does not reach the target market.

Scheels has these sometimes for $850.

When I was looking for one to send to nighthawk, I wouldn't have bought used for more than $800.

It's a lot of dudes jerking each other off, but check out the 1911 addicts forum - they have a robust classifieds section. Something like a 1911C sells often enough.

One of those sold locally, guy had it listed for $650. I don't know how much he got for it but I know somebody got to it before me.

That's a hella good price.

I just turned 800 down.
.it's getting to the point.  I don't like meeting face to face.  Guy I met last Saturday.  Wanted me to bring rounds so he could cycle the rifle

My LGS has a brand new 1911C for sale for $875 I think...so yeah, $950 is too much. $800 new in box unfired, maybe, and that's probably pushing it with all the tire kickers out there these days.

Quite a few out there for sub $900 brand new.  So yes, about $150 too high (at least).

That's what I paid for mine.  Used, in the sense that someone owned it before me.  I don't think they shot it at all.

OP: $800 is top of the mark for that pistol IMO.  If you want to actually sell it, list at $750.

I hate to be "that guy" and maybe English isn't your first language but if you're typing like that, I would say most people would think "fraud." Most of the fraud type posts will have poor grammar, and/or "too good to be true" pricing.

So my advice is if you have a English speaking friend, have him/her type out the ad and perhaps even answer ads for you so that you can complete the transaction.

I bought one for a little less that $900 with tax and shipping and transfer, my reason is they aren't going to cheap forever, it' not like it's one of those plastic guns.
