When I need to wear a shirt & tie, I have been searching for a cell phone type case or any case that will fit on a belt & not scream gun. Something discreet. PDA case etc. For a G26/27 or a 442. There is a company I found that makes those but the reviews have been trash I found, & they appear to be overly large. Any suggestions? |
| No go on a jacket. FL weather & lots of times I need to take it off in the events I attend. Not too concerned with access. I just don't want to keep being unarmed in these situations. I tried the tuck IWB ones, I have a bunch of them. Given my frame, they are noticed. |

Kinda like the old Goshen Unholster...been out of print for decades now. I use a Condor Admin Pouch as a belt pouch with the MOLLE adjusted to the size of my belt. I carry an ersatz trauma kit in it and the unzipped front pouch works perfectly as a phone holder. I have been doing this for six or seven years, takes about two years of constant everyday use to wear one out, (Condor is not trash), and I think I have gotten three comments on it in all that time. If it had absolutely nothing else in it, it could hold a Ruger EC9s or J frame. However, draw time would be measured in minutes. I remember seeing ads for flat pouches in leather prupose built that could have a number of different stampings on the outside to mislead the curious, but they were just that - a holster and nothing else. |

Honestly, the best thing I found for that situation is a light weight j-frame (LCR, 642 etc) though a small and light 380 automatic might work too), front pocket carry in a good pocket holster. It looks like a wallet. I carry my wallet, phone and a small pocket knife together in the other pocket (I had to keep a minimal wallet and use a very light and thin phone). It's going to be a lot less obvious than a big box on your belt. Nobody caries PDAs or phones like that anymore. |
