I have a PSA Dagger that I purchased a few months ago and finally hit the range with it last week. It has a few issues but the main one that concerns me is that after about 40-50 rounds the magazines were very difficult to remove and the magazine release would barely move. Once it cooled down it was fine and I have since sprayed armor-all on the magazine and inside the magazine well. When the gun is cool the magazines drop free just fine. Would changing out the magazine release spring make a difference or will that break in after awhile? It is still difficult even when the gun is cool and unfired. I fired 200 rounds and I also had one instance of a dead trigger. That happened when the gun was hot but I am not overly concerned as I figure that is just the gun breaking in. @PalmettoStateArmory Hopefully they'll see this. I had a FDE compact frame that absolutely would not drop a Gen5 magazine. It dropped fine out of around nine other frames. I had a Gen3 and Gen4 that dropped, but I had just got a bunch of new mags and wasn't going to use old, beat up mags anymore. I even removed the magazine release and spring and it still wouldn't drop. The frame was just out of spec. PSA offered to exchange it, but that would have been a pain in the ass since my FFL closed, so I just sold it for $100 at a gun buy back (after stripping the frame). |
