Im familiar with the Delta Elite but I never knew there was such a gun as a Delta Gold Cup.
Saw one for sale last week and bought it. Haven’t taken possession of it yet because of Md 7 day wait.
It is stainless with typical rubber wraparound grips with delta medallions. Adjustable rear sight.
Left side slide marked Delta Gold Cup
Right side slide marked Gold Cup National Match.
I plugged the serial number in to the Colt database and it came up as 1990 date of manufacture.

Anyone else own one of these?

I have one.  Fun to shoot on the rare occasion I take it out.

Yes. The DGCs were made only for a short while. I think they were discontinued after 1996. So scoring one in good shape puts you into Pony Collector territory.

This is mine.  All I did was swap out the factory wrap-around ‘prebble’ rubber grips for some custom Hogues with the Delta medallion installed. Otherwise it’s stock.

Thanks Nick,
What I'm seeing is that the early ones had the "Delta Gold Cup" on the right side.
Then, somewhere around serial number GC03000'ish the roll marks on the right side changed to "Gold Cup National Match" with the cup emblem, which is the version mine has.
Then again at some point they went back to just "Delta Gold Cup" like yours. Kinda strange

Yes, and on the guns like mine they basically repeat the "DGC" roll mark on both sides, although the left side also has the 'Delta' symbol.

That's a dandy, well done OP!
