Recently purchased a Desantis Apache Ankle holster for my S&W 442 & Colt Cobra +P (Post 2017). A retired cop pal has been bending my ear for years about going that route. So far so good. Stays put, doesn't bounce around, secure feel with no discomfort. Thought I'd share since they get such a bad rap..... Colt Cobra in this picture.

I have the Galco Ankle Glove(for j frame) and its really nice and super comfortable but dang they are spendy now and don't look to have as nice of sheepskin padding as my older one does.

I used to have the same holster when I carried a 442, was very comfortable and secure.
