Anyone try a Timney or other Gen 6 trigger out? Not for carry use but of course it has to be safe. |

| I,'ve had a couple of interesting conversations with him at TT, originally on my RXM which has gone down the road and now the gen 6. I don't really have a preference on a flat vs curved trigger, I'm running Johnny Glock reworked OE triggers on slimlines and I'm quite happy, after my conversation with TT I opted for his curved trigger. I'm currently running Wolff reduced power fps and 5.5lb striker springs and will start with those as I prefer my carry triggers a bit over 4lbs. Stoeger had good things to say about the triggers so, its worth a shot. |

I did, I'd probably be just as well with just the connector but I ordered a drop in kit which will come without the housing as they're not available from Glock for gen 6. I'm not sure how much of the kit I'll be using, I'm currently running a stock trigger with a Wolff reduced power fps spring and 5.5lb striker spring, the triggers pretty decent, smooth and about 4.5lb's just way too long a pull. As the flat trigger would shorten the trigger some reach I went with his curved shoe, if the reach is any shorter I'd have to add a back strap. I'm hoping to come up with a shorter travel trigger that's somewhere between 4-4.5lbs for carry, similar to the way I've got my slimlines set up, consistency's a good thing. |

He'd mentioned his fps is lighter than the Wolff but where I wanted trigger pull a little on the heavier side @ close to 4.5 lbs might want to try the Woff, and maybe put the oe striker spring back in, which I'd rather not do, the Wolff's a lot better spring. My priority is to shorten pre / total trigger travel, any idea what you wound up with for pull weight? Appreciate the feedback. |

Stand by! 10 shot average right at 4 lbs on my wheeler digital gauge measured about 1/8th of an inch from the bottom of the trigger to the bottom of the pad. Having had JG kits, they are fantastic and smooth as can be, as he really knows how/where to slick them up. But the TT kit changes the physical characteristics of the trigger pull itself, and comes in about 100 less if you factor in it comes with a very nice metal shoe for the full drop in kit. I appreciated the JG kits, but they were best when you added in all his parts. At that point, they're more than half the cost of the gun. With the TT kit, you can get 90% of the benefit from his firing pin block spring and enhanced connector for about 75 bucks or so. Again, strongly recommended. |

I can snap some pictures of where the shoe sits if you need me to, but I don't have an OEM G6 shoe to compare it to. |

Thanks very much for the pic's offer but, not necessary. I did order his poly trigger as curved or flat generally isn't a big deal for me, I just didnt want to get a further set back flat trigger, then on a gen 6 I'd have to start trying back straps as the oe trigger is about as short a trigger reach is I want to go. I did try the medium back strap but at best I'd cut the bottom half off or check after market. I guess I've got a few weeks wait and options when it lands. Thanks! |

| I swapped the shoe on my 45gen6 with a GunCo SS trigger shoe, and that's good enough for me. For whatever reason, the SS shoe felt better in the gen6 than the Glockstore FAST shoe, which is just a GunCo Atom shoe. On my other gen5 Glocks, I swap the shoes to FAST or Atom shoes. |
