Not a pro but happened to have a 30 beside me.

I dry fired and kept trigger compressed
I then cycle slide
I then released trigger
A reset occurred

Just like to supposed to do. I don’t have any experience with the SCD either so consider this a free bump!

Pull the trigger return spring and reinstall it. Make sure it is not crooked on the spring holder or the bottom of the trigger bar.
