I recently inherited a Glock 30SF, not sure it’s ever been fired. Has a Viridian green laser with original case. What’s a reasonable asking price in EE? Attached File |

The Gen 5 30 shoots much better than the Gen 4 or 3. It’s about the most gun one can carry in an A-Holster pocket holster. I would sell the laser and keep the gun. These run Glock 21 mags (13) and Kriss mags. If you’re used to 9 mm & 40 SW Glocks these feel fat but the fact that it’s 10 round mags makes it compliant Wa. & Or. etc. Not a bad choice for backup when hiking. Now a discontinued model may help it to increase in value over time but if you must part with it $450 seems about right. Used Glocks with only a few exceptions don’t seem to go up in value. Consider this a Glock 30 with two or three Glock 21 mags in a back pocket gives you 36 to 49 rounds of .45 acp on you. |

The electronic gadget is worth 50% of the online price for new, if it is in excellent condition, and if it is a widely recognized and respected brand. Any oddball brand electronic device is worthless second-hand. The pistol is worth 75% of the online price of same item new-in-the-box, if your item is in excellent condition. 30 Super Carry is an extremely undesirable caliber. So very limited market compared to other calibers except maybe 45 GAP. Expect to wait a long time for a buyer at 75%. Drop price to 50% and it will probably move quickly. |

| I was never a Glock guy until it became issued, and required, and I began to notice how very reliable they were and how much they tolerated abuse. While there is nothing about them that gives me the feeling of admiration that I hold for a Colt 1911 it is absolutely a gun I have bet my life on to work under the worst of circumstances. |

G30 is 45 ACP. Can you do private sales in LA? The G30 and G29 sell locally at gun shows for top dollar since they are discontinued. If I was looking to get top dollar for it, sell it locally. I bet you can get close to $600 if your market is anything like TX. Now those G29… Those are going for $1200.

I would say $400-450... (Not a G30SF) I got my G30S from a pawn shop for $400; came with original box, two 10rd mags, and a cheap Galco soft tuck holster. Aftermarket sights (black rear, green fiber optic front) were installed; don't know what brand but they're GTG. The pistol was virtually new; clean inside and out, no scratches and absolutely no barrel wear. I didn't need a compact .45 but the price was too good to pass up and it scratched the itch of LAPD SIS vibes. With 230gr HST, it has comparable recoil to my full size M&P45 2.0. |

I highly doubt that it is true. Sold in the last 30 days on GB. I have also seen three of the G29s sell at local gun shows for $1200.
