Just FYI for you fellow revolver lovers-PSA has the 686 plus, 5 inch bbl for $699, have not seen them this cheap in a long time ( I snagged one!)

Damn that is tempting. I already have a 3" 686 plus, and no 6" 357s in the stable currently.
Eta: 5" bbl? Very interesting. |

Nice buy! I saw the standard 686 + 4" other day at LGS for $899. Luckily in 2017 I picked mine up for $679. I'd grap this one if I was in market for a 686 +.

If I hadn’t just gotten back from vacation, that would be coming home with me. Plus, I just got a new 3 inch Python at the beginning of the month.
Five inch and unflutted cylinder. Very nice! |

I couldn't resist and picked one up while they were still on sale.
Unfortunately, already sent it back to S&W. One of the stocks was cracked and there was a large chunk of jacket stuck to the forcing cone. |
