| Does anyone know anything about these yet? I'm trying to decide if I should wait to put one on a 43X or just go with the EPS Carry? It seems like the Core will not require an adaptor plate and is cheaper than the Carry. Cost is not a deciding factor, but I like the 3 moa dot. |

The EPS and Carry are the Holosun K pattern which does not have the rear mounting boss holes. So the Core fits both patterns. So it fixes a minor fitment problem with Holosun and the RMSc pattern, like the G43 uses. (I always just Dremel the rear two bosses off RMSc pattern slides to fit Holosun optics) If an EPS or Carry directly mounts on your gun, so will an EPS Core. Plus core will fit RMSc pattern slides without modification or adapters. As far as I've read, the dot options will be offered the same as the EPS and EPS Carry (choice of dot size or MRS). It seems to me it's the wider screen of the EPS on a thinner EPS Carry lower body. So basically an EPS for a slimmer slide (like a G43, P365 or 1911) with no abrupt overhang of the optic base. If you have a wider slide like a G19, then the Core has no benefit. The only specification differences as far as I can tell is a different type of aluminum for the body, and no solar panel. This is all just from Google searching and picking up bits here and there so take my info with a dose of salt. The core has a bigger window and a front facing light sensor which works great if you use auto brightness. If it fits without an adapter plate and is cheaper than that would be my choice. |

| Picked mine up yesterday, installed it today. Haven’t shot it yet but so far impressed. The RMSc footprint with larger window pairs very well with the 43x MOS. The front facing auto brightness sensor adjusts pretty quickly and accurately too. It’s also quite lightweight. |

I've put a few hundred rounds through my EPS Core on my 43x MOS. So far I am very impressed for the $280 price point. The auto brightness more quickly adjusts than any red dot that I've used, the window and thereby dot is as quick to pick up as any red dot that would fit the 43X, and the enclosed emitter glass is obviously much easier to clean than an open design One thing I don't like is the width on a slide as thin as the 43X as it is very easy to hit the buttons or pull on the sight when racking the slide. Obviously it's a trade off for a larger window like this, and I will add that the way it blends from the smaller RMSc footprint into a wider width is as well done as I think it can be done. I've been trying to use the front serrations but that is not what I'm accustomed to, so it's taking some time. |
