I can't find any honest reviews on these except the usual shills. Just checking in here to see if anyone has had any actual real experience with these as I'm thinking of getting one but I will be going from a 507 comp with that large window to this smaller window. I'm wondering if it's going to be a bummer? I already do have a 407K on my RXM for carry so I'm used to the smaller windows but this would be going on a gun that I shoot local matches with and I'm wondering if I'm better off going with larger window? The one thing I do like is that it direct mounts to the MOS cut, and this is my first MOS Glock. I usually have slides milled to fit a particular dot and I keep reading that these MOS cuts are not that great and you either need to buy a good aftermarket plate or get the Holosun SCS MOS that direct mounts. The only negative I can really find with these is that sometimes they are too bright in certain lighting conditions. Just looking for some real world pros and cons from the hive. |

My only concern is where I heard they can bloom quite a bit sometimes when shooting from a darker spot into bright sunlight? Whenever I need to work up some hand load loads to test out I usually need the dot to be kind of dim so I can be more precise when shooting from a rest. I wonder if just simply putting some tape over solar panel would do the trick when I may need to dim the dot down a bit? |

I have a couple of them. They are convenient and they work. I would definitely say I prefer other optics with larger windows such as RMR-HD, 509T and Aimpoint COA That said they are inexpensive,mount extremely low to slide and auto adjust without battery All in all they are not a bad choice Attached File |

I have one on my G40. No issues. I don't really notice the smaller window. I'm running a 507c on my G17.

The only thing that I don’t like is the auto brightness. I would prefer to set my own brightness. It mounts solid and it’s nice to be able to use stock height sights. Window size is a low priority for me. First, you should be target focused, not dot focused. And B, there’s only one firing solution that is correct anyway and that is the same no matter how big the window is. |

I'm target focused, just fine I'm mostly worried about The reticle brightness under certain circumstances. Still not sure what direction I'm going to take. I do like being able to have control over the brightness of the reticle. Contrary to certain popular belief, a larger window can help sometimes whether target focused or not. unless your Ben Stoger, but even he prefers a larger window. |

| I have one for my M&P9 metal. There are other dots I like better. It sucks from a dark area and it sucks not being able to dim it. Im honestly not sure why people brag about them. I believe the people who brag dont have any other dot or they dont shoot enough to know. |

Got it in yesterday, and I'm liking it so far but not 100% as of yet. I do see that from a dim area the dot is dimmer also. The green reticle does make it easier more so then my red ones when I turned them down. I do love how it fits in the MOS cut like a glove, and no plate to worry about coming loose. Verdict is still out on it but I'll give it a try for a while. |
