I used to use a crossbreed supertuck. I carried it on my ankle a few times in a custom holster, but it was so heavy I walked with a limp. Now I keep it in the safe and carry a p365

I use a GMI goblin for my light bearing P220s and it disappears pretty well. I also have a 4Bros light bearing holster for my Xten and they both.are about the same size but the 4bros is a bit better in hiding the large pistol. | Well, I don’t carry my P220 (love shooting it but I’m a 1911 guy and to me, my Sig classic guns have backwards controls and messes with my muscle memory) but I do carry my Commander size 1911 in a Milt Sparks Summer Special IWB holster and it works great. Just make sure you don’t cheap out on the belt to support it. I stick with either the Wilderness Instructor rigger belt or a heavy Galco stitched leather belt that is designed for CCW carry. |

Use a Mitch Rosen Legion holster for the P220 with a light. P226 fits if there's a need for more ammunition. Been carrying full-size metal pistols (1911s, Bhp, Sig DA) for almost 50 years. Mostly OWB. Get a good belt and holster and go. |

I bought a track belt last year and it is super stiff 2 layers that hold up anything I can wear. If it seems loose or tight it is easy to just pull to tighten or move the belt buckle lever and pull out a little. I don't know the name, but it is comfortable and stiff. The 220 seems to fit my enigma phlster holster I carry my 229 in very comfortable. The only problem is the longer grip that prints, where the 229 pistol does not print at all. |

I guess it depends on your body size/type and your clothing style (depending on weather). Just the other day, after shooting my P220, I stopped to run some errands and wasnt about to take off my holster (some older leather OWB pancake type). I was NOT dressed around the big gal and printed like an amateur but consoled myself that most people don't notice shit. I probably could have kept the gun in my hand lol. But its not the gun for Florida summer T-shirt and shorts. Ideally, IWB in my old Sparks Summer Special would have been much better but after gaining 20 pounds in the past few years, it's getting uncomfortable to stuff a big gun down my pants. Right now, I am 25lbs heavier than when I graduated from MCRD San Diego. I'm not sleak and svelt but I'm not a completely fat body. When I carry while I'm out fishing, I carry a chest rig made specifically for the P220+2 mags, un-concealed. Concealed, I carry IWB with a Theis belt and holster with a single mag pouch. I carried my P220 for seven years and the belt and holster only got better as time went by. Make sure to get a belt that's made to carry the weight of a loaded P220. A run of the mill standard leather belt won't support the pistol and holster well. I will say that without a proper belt, carrying in an IWB holster won't go well for you. I also have a concealed shoulder holster when I'm wearing some kind of overcoat. Either way, the general public around me would have no idea I'm carrying a "large" handgun. I was in a large outdoor store about ten years ago and an excited young man raced around me, slipped and bonked his head on my concealed IWB P220. I was sure the sound of the BONK! let everyone in the store know I was carrying. The young man was rubbing the part of his head that made contact with my pistol. He had no idea why that spot was so hard. I still snicker to myself when I remember the look on the young mans face. He was looking at me like "What the heck is under there?" I ended up buying a 320 to carry around populated areas around the state of Montana. After carrying the P220 for so long, the 320 felt like concealed carrying a fart. Just to make things worse for my P220, I bought a standard old P365 and now my P220 only gets to go fishing anymore. I still love my P220, I'll pass it along to my kiddos when it's time. My body is getting too old to carry my P220 all the time like I used too. |

As previously stated, a stiff belt for ccw is necessary for comfort. Once l bought a stiff belt l can't wear a flimsy belt even if I'm not packing heat. Basically what everyone says. Same way you would CCW for a 1911 or any other full sized gun. I used to carry a old P226 which is wider than my old P220. I used a quality leather OWB "pancake" of some type. It worked great. IWB also works great but a quality leather OWB is so nice to carry. And all you loose compared to a IWB is that the end of the holster might be visible if your cover garment rides up. I kind of have an unpopular idea of concealing for CCW. I never carry anywhere i am not allowed. So 90% of the time I CCW I basically conceal to "the best of my ability". If it prints a little or the edge of the holster shows so what. Who is going to notice? another "gun guy" or a cop who is trained to see that stuff. Since I am legal and usually in VERY gun friendly states who cares. Yes I do admit it gives up some "tactical advantage" if the bad guy sees. But I will take that chance if it means that I get to be armed and go about my life without worrying about ever little time I print or the edge of the holster shows. For the 10% of the time I CCW and need to be 100% sure I no one knows I will pocket carry or do a smaller gun in a IWB. There are a lot of good options these days. I used to carry more with this mindset when i lived in Atlanta years ago. Then it was something like a Airweight in a pocket, a P32 in a pocket, a Kahr IWB or maybe a G19 IWB. Honestly, here in MT I often have a G20 in a chest rig while out fishing or hunting. If i run into a store I just throw a light jacket or a shirt on over it. It prints like hell and straps are visible. No one gives me a second look, no one cares up here. a LOT of people open carry all the time here. They are not the kind of people looking for attention up here. They are the kind of people that have a gun on their hip because they work on a ranch or in rural areas. They probably just put it on in the morning same as grabbing a cell phone. No one really cares. I know this is a big generalization and I am painting with a broad brush. But it is true for the most part. But my point is that you need to decide how you want to CCW. Do you need to be 100% discreet or do you care if you print a little. This will dictate what size firearm you carry and what location you carry it in. |

How do I conceal my P220? I DON'T! Been fighting tooth and nail for open carry here in Florida for over a decade now. Going so far as filing a lawsuit in federal court back in August 2024. Well, the State of Florida capitulated and agreed with GOA that open carry is protected by the Second Amendment and that FL LE must not harass anyone openly carrying. I'm proud to have my John Hancock on the settlement, representing GOA/GOF.  December 11, 2025 Fort Pierce, FL Yesterday afternoon in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the St. Lucie County State Attorney's Office and the Sheriff of St. Lucie County, representing the State of Florida, reached a settlement with Gun Owners Foundation and Gun Owners of America in GOA v. Del Toro. The lawsuit, filed in August 2024, challenged Florida's open carry ban. Under the settlement, Defendants agreed not to enforce Florida's ban on open carry, and acknowledged that law enforcement agencies must align their practices with the right to keep and bear arms protected by the Second Amendment. GOA maintained, and Defendants agreed, that the open carry of firearms is "presumptively protected by the plain text of the Second Amendment" and that 790.053(1) is incompatible with the Second Amendment.
