The crown on my U.S.-made 92 barrel that I had purchased as a spare looks like ass. Also have a 21a barrel that is smoothbore a significant distance. Zero attention to detail. Almost as if they hired people to tick off a DEI checkmark or something. |

According to a post I read over on the Beretta Forum back when they were hiring for Tennessee, they actually did. Even had a sign up saying so. I won't buy anything sight unseen made in Tennessee and I absolutely love Beretta. I have 4 handguns, one rifle, and one shotgun and all are either from Italy or Maryland. I've seen a few firearms from Tennessee that looked ok but were not on my buy list. OP hopefully your barrel is ok. The last threaded barrel I picked up directly from Beretta was advertised as being from Italy. They sold out quick. They and most of their customers know there is a problem. I would really like to have a M9A3 or A4 one day, but I haven't been able to find one. Seems all the A4's are Tenn made, at least the ones I've looked at and they all skipped the QC line at the factory. The ones at my LGS, I showed the defects to the owner and he sent them all back. That was over a year ago and he hasn't had any since. I missed out on a used black A3 Italian here in the EE back before the coof for $800. Still kicking myself for that mistake. |

| I bought a threaded 92 barrel advertised as being from Italy last year some time. But inspecting it, it has the P proof mark. Makes sense. First time time shooting it, I fired maybe 200 rounds of blazer brass through it. It LEADED the barrel as if I fired uncoated lead through it. After hours of cleaning, I got the lead out and polished the rifling. It can now shoot the blazer brass without leading but the rifling must have been incredibly sharp or rough from the factory. Blazer isn't jacketed but nicely plated. Looking through the barrel, if it's chrome lined, the last 1/2" of the barrel isn't lined. There is a distinct color difference. |

I haven’t put a lot of rounds through my “Italy” threaded barrel. You have me worried now. Got to check for that proof mark. |
