Looking for an integrally compensated slide that works with a standard full size (4.7") barrel. My google-fu is weak. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? I've looked at the Sig site and don't see anything like that offered through them. If not, I may send my slide to Monsoon Tactical for a Gengis Komp mod. ETA: Of course after I post this I find a couple of options. Has anyone had any experience with either the Full-Size KMT Ballistic Diffusion/Emission (B.D.E.) Compensated Slide for Sig Sauer® P320 or the FDEZ Comp'd P320 Full-Size Slide? |

I have one of the shalotek integrally compensated slides for a compact frame - very similar to the FDEZ It “works” but it’s not life-changing. I’d say if the m18 recoil is a 6/10 and the x5 legion recoil is a 3/10, the shalotek brings the m18 size pistol down to a 4/10. I haven’t tried a radian ramjet or pmm micro comp to compare, but I’ve heard those are slightly more effective in terms of real felt-recoil. I had a Herrington comp that made the recoil on par or slightly better than the x5 but it was the same overall size. I can’t complain about the shalotek, but a better trigger like a gray guns, and a better grip module that allows you to get a higher purchase on the gun will go much further in terms of controllability in my personal opinion.
